- To conduct research on the above-mentioned fields.
- Research to cover teaching requirements at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
- Undertaking and implementing national and international research projects as well as undertaking consultancy or development of projects and studies contributing to social benefit in accordance with academic ethics.
- The preparation of studies (including technical specifications) to support the services of the University of Western Attica in topics related to the scientific fields of the Laboratory.
- Any activity that is compatible with, or is derived from, the laboratory’s research fields.
- In the context of joint activities with other institutions and organizations, the laboratory shall make available equipment in strict compliance with the relevant legislation (e.g. Radiation Protection, Safe Operation, Safety Conditions, etc.), the operating regulations of the laboratory and the corresponding requirements of the technical specifications of the equipment.
